Project CCSC: Cross-Cultural Students' Cooperation in Business Management Research Projects

“Cross-Cultural Students' Cooperation in Business Management Research Projects” is part of the Baden-Württemberg-STIPENDIUM for university studentsBWS plus, a programme of the Baden-Württemberg Stiftung. The project runs three years and is supported with an amount of 137.000 EUR. Focus of CCSC are the

  • development,
  • establishment and
  • continuation

of an innovative academic teaching and learning concept: Students of the Double degree program in „International Business“ (DHBW Mannheim / Germany; Université Paris-Dauphine / France and Kozminski University Warsaw / Poland) cooperate transnationally with students of the Department of Economics of the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) / Spain and work together on the same teaching and research projects.

With this unique combination of student exchange, lecturer mobility and joint events (workshops, lectures, seminars, intercultural training) for more than one semester, students from both universities will be enabled to experience international and intercultural teamwork in a professional, practice-oriented environment. Through their long-term transnational cooperation, students are specifically prepared for their future work in a global workplace.

CCSC is holistically, internationally and interculturally orientated and combines at the same time the needs of theory and practice - through the scientific work on research and / or practice-oriented tasks across national and cultural boundaries.

Due to its structure, CCCS allows multi-dimensional learning - especially through

  • transnational work in teams,
  • the peculiarities associated with international project work,
  • the complexity and dynamics of international and intercultural group processes,
  • the handling of stress („unknown areas“) and commitment,
  • professionalism in cooperation and coordination with international clients.

In general, CCCS promotes the academization of the studies by providing students with empirical research at an early stage.
